Not all channels are for fun and social, and that's why we have Selected Channels.
While adding Trivia to your Slack workspace, you can select the specific channels where you'd like for the app to be activated. Trivia games can then only be hosted in those particular Selected Channels.
These channels can be changed at any point of time.
Please note that only Slack workspace admins can edit selected channels.
To edit your selected channels, follow these steps:
- Open https://springworks.in/trivia
- Click on Login in the navigation bar on the top right corner
- Sign in with your Slack account to grant access for setting up admin controls
- This will open the Trivia Dashboard. In the Dashboard tab, select the channels where you want to add Trivia. Deselecting any channel would result in removing Trivia from the same channel
Inviting the Trivia app to a channel in Slack by submitting the command '/invite @Trivia' is equivalent to selecting a channel in this menu.
